SORRY

WHY DO YOU DO WHAT YOU DO?

the main reason is simply the satisfaction that comes with expressing myself and my ideas freely. Also with street art and graffiti being very visual i can hopefully inspire and encourage other people to practice and enjoy the freedom that comes with expressing their true selves.

WHAT INSPIRES YOU?

Growing up in a working class area, on-top of being mixed race and struggling with my sexual identity I had to learn how to have fun without as much money or social status. This usually led to being creative in some way or another. Sometimes spray paint, sometimes music. Basically  anything you could access by walking, riding a bike or skating.

I was and still am constantly inspired by street culture, the characters you meet in the shadier parts of the city and the lifestyle that comes with it.

WHERE WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE YOUR ART IN 5 YEARS?

Hmm that’s a tough one. I’d like to have my work for sale in a few reputable galleries. Maybe a couple of solo shows under my belt and an artist residency somewhere that i can create opportunities for others. I’d also like to sell something stupid, like a banana. But for a LUDICROUS amount of money.

DREAM COLLABORATION FOR YOU?

Ahh the list is endless. Suppose there’s all the big streetwear brands like Nike and Adidas etc. Mainly due to the ties with the street culture. But a brand that really captures my spirit and has an amazing aesthetic is Lazy Oaf. Really like how playful their stuff is.

CRUMPETS OR BAGELS?

Definitely not crumpets, i can’t stand them! For some reason they make me a bit nauseous. Bagels over crumpets any day but normally as a burger bun.
