WHY DO YOU DO WHAT YOU DO?
I make music, DJ and I do it because honestly, I just love music and it would feel wrong if I didn’t create my own art and showcase the music I love.
WHAT INSPIRES YOU?
Seeing my friends and creatives whose work I like do well inspires me a lot, I just love super positive vibes and it makes me want to create. In an artistic sense I just try and take inspiration from absolutely everything and I mean everything. Humans have the ability of vision, hearing, touch and to limit your inspiration from one thing that only uses one of those senses limits your arts potential.
WHO DO YOU THINK IS THE MOST UNDERRATED DJ?
The most underrated DJ I know is probably Section 76 (@tomcomphoto). The dude can mix any genre so well, no BPM readings and play you music from each of those that you’ve never heard that’ll blow your mind off, big ups Tom.
IF YOU COULD GO B2B WITH ANY DJ WHO WOULD IT BE?
This is probably an annoying answer but I’m not sure. I feel like some of the best b2bs a lot of the time are because the crowd and the atmosphere were perfect at that time. For the sake of completeness, I would say Sergic or Killjoy because they make the big rids. Or possibly Budgie because I reckon it’d just be proper fun mixing up a bit of everything.
MONOPOLY OR SCRABBLE?
I would say Monopoly, but Scrabble has a special place in my heart. When I was about 11, I used to go to my neighbours’ house and play scrabble with her and her husband who were in their 90’s. I saw them like grandparents because they was super loving. I don’t think I’ve ever played scrabble again since they passed away and I don’t think I ever will.
